Description

1972-73 Noel Picard Game Worn Atlanta Flames Jersey - From Franchise's Inaugural Season! Superb heavy Durene gamer from the Atlanta Flames' inaugural NHL season. This extremely scarce offering was worn by notable defenseman Noel Picard, who is widely remembered for tripping Bobby Orr after Orr scored the famed goal to give the Boston Bruins the 1970 Stanley Cup.

Nice use is exhibited throughout, while a scattering of burn marks and unrepaired holes are displayed on the sleeves. In addition, there is a team repair on the right sleeve and stick and puck marks throughout the jersey. The proper "Rawlings [size] 46" tag is in the tail's interior, while sewn-on numerals are on the back and sleeves. Historic shirt from the modestly successful hockey club, which qualified for the playoffs six of its eight seasons. LOA from Joe Tomon.
