Description

1986 Roger Clemens Twenty Strikeout Game Used, Signed Baseball. In a career that places the Rocket among the top echelon of Cooperstown residents, the 1986 season was arguably his finest. As he helped to lead his Boston Red Sox to within a hair's breadth of their first World Championship in sixty-eight seasons, he earned his first Cy Young, the American League MVP award, The Sporting News Pitcher of the Year Award, and even the MVP of the All-Star Game.

But his most memorable moment of the season came on April 29th during a Mariners visit to Fenway when he retired a record-setting twenty batters on strikes in one of the most dominating pitching performances ever rendered. Here we present a well-used OAL (Brown) sphere from that game, autographed in 10/10 blue ink on the side panel with a "4-29-86, 20K's" notation in Clemens' hand. COA from PSA/DNA, S74859. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
