1957 Sandy Koufax Signed Last Ebbets Field Appearance Ticket Stub, PSA Authentic & Auto 10. After Dodgers ace Carl Erskine sacrificed the lead by allowing two runs in the top of the ninth to the visiting Phillies on September 20, 1957, the hard-throwing southpaw was brought in to retire Richie Ashburn for the final out, an appearance which would prove to be Koufax' last in Brooklyn.
