1956 Topps Davy Crockett (Orange Backs) Complete Set (80). In 1956, Davy Crockett was all the rage among school-age kids. To capitalize on this craze, Topps signed a contract with Walt Disney Productions to distribute trading cards. It's unclear if the project was initially intended to be limited to 80 cards, but 80 cards with orange backs were released and quickly sold out. As the Davy Crockett craze faded, another 80 cards with green backs were released into a market with dwindling interest.
