Description

1977 Earl "Red" Blaik Multi-Signed 80th Birthday Presentational Piece. The subject of this one-of-a-kind presentational piece, Earl "Red" Blaik was everything Americans would expect a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy to be: an officer, a true gentleman and a champion. The legendary head coach of West Point's gridiron squad from 1941 through 1958, he was one of the best ever. In his 18 years at West Point, he coached two national champions and six undefeated teams. Even more important than his 166 wins, though was the influence he had with his players on and off the field, and this catalog listing is just one example as to how many people admired the great man. Beautifully framed and matted at 25x31", this photograph has been signed by friends, family and an array of Blaik's former players, including Heisman Trophy winners Glenn Davis and Doc Blanchard. In addition, the iconic Bob Hope added his signature to this high-quality group. A perfect piece for any Army graduate or collegiate football enthusiast. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA. Third-party shipping required.
