1955 Topps All American Knute Rockne #16 SGC 96 Mint 9 - Pop Four, One Higher. Offered is a 1955 Topps All American card that salutes Notre Dame legend Knute Rockne. An impressive player before he became the longtime coach in South Bend, Rockne led the Fightin' Irish to three National titles during his 13 seasons as head coach. In 1931, at the age of 43, Rockne died in a plane crash. This example of card #16 from the '55 Topps AA set is found in Mint condition. Graded SGC 96 Mint 9. Of the 355 examples currently found in the SGC Pop Report, this is one of only four cards graded MINT with just one rated higher.Auction Info
