1996 Macho Man Randy Savage Ring Worn Shirt from The Night He Won His Second WCW Championship & Reuniting with Hulk Hogan from The Macho Man Randy Savage Collection. On January 22, 1996, "Macho Man" Randy Savage captured his second WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a thrilling clash against Ric Flair on Monday Nitro. This match wasn't just a title change-it was a statement. The intensity was off the charts, as two of wrestling's biggest legends clashed in a brutal, emotionally charged encounter. Savage's resilience was on full display, enduring Flair's trademark dirty tactics, including interference from The Four Horsemen and relentless chops and figure-four attempts.Savage turned the tide with his explosive offense, landing fists from the top rope and countering Flair's veteran tricks. The crowd erupted when he nailed his signature flying elbow drop for the win. This victory reignited Savage's momentum in WCW's turbulent main event scene and brought a major spark to Nitro during the height of the Monday Night Wars. It also set the stage for continued chaos, drama, and intensity that only Savage and Flair could deliver.
Dubbed the Copper outfit by the family, this shirt has "Macho Man" expressed in the way only Michael Braun could on the front. Tassels adorn the shoulders. The reverse features an array of glitter which takes on a copper tone.
Savage can be seen wearing this the night he reclaimed the gold for the second time in WCW. The champion enters the ring to help Hulk Hogan fend off the One Man Gang following Hogan's win as Arn Anderson and a host of others attack the Hulkster. A similar jacket and pants (not included) were worn by Savage to the ring when he took on Flair. Macho Man did sign the garment, but he did against the black exterior making it nearly undecipherable.
