1964-65 Earl Morrall Game & Preseason Worn Detroit Lions Jersey. His remarkable college and twenty-one season NFL careers as a player yielded an All-American selection, national championship, three Super Bowl titles, NFL championship, NFL MVP and NFL Comeback Player of the Year award. Offered here is Earl Morrall's Detroit Lions gamer which he wore in the 1964 regular season and 1965 preseason, before his trade to the New York Giants on August 30th. The blue durene exemplar displays "14" sewn-on the front/back/sleeves in silver satin twill, embedded white sleeve stripes and two tags in the tail: a "Wilson 46" manufacturer's label and a "Gray's Grosse Pointe" distributor's tag. Exhibits solid wear. Please note that the jersey was probably also worn by Karl Sweetan during the 1966 preseason. LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
