Description

1972 Comspec Elmore Smith PSA NM 7 - Pop Four, Two Higher. Elmore Smith was a good shot blocker who finished second in NBA Rookie of the Year balloting in 1972. Playing for four different teams over his eight-year career, he averaged 13.4 points and 2.9 blocks per outing. Offered is Smith's 1972 Comspec card, which is part of a non-traditional set with unnumbered cards that was not distributed through standard retail channels, making it much rarer than its Topps counterpart. This example shows rich color, no surface wear, superb centering, four good corners and a clean reverse. Graded PSA NM 7. According to the PSA Pop Report, this is one of only four cards graded NEAR MINT with just two rated higher.
