1991 Dennis Rodman Game Worn & Signed Detroit Pistons Jersey - Photo Matched to 13 Games Including Eastern Conference Finals from The Nate D Grate Collection. Dennis Rodman was reborn many times over. After growing eight inches while working as a airport janitor, Rodman began an unlikely basketball odyssey which took him from Cook County College to Southeastern Oklahoma State University and then the Detroit Pistons, where he made his NBA debut as a twenty-five year old rookie.A important component of The Bad Boys, where he won back-to-back NBA titles and back-to-back NBA Defensive Defensive Player of the Year awards, The Worm spent two eventful seasons in San Antonio before being traded to Chicago where he won three consecutive NBA crowns with Michael and Scottie.
The offered gamer was worn by The Menace during the 1990-91 season when he averaged 12.5 rebounds per game and captured his second consecutive Defensive Player of the Year Award. The road blue mesh jersey sports identifiers screen-on in red/white heat transfers, red/white trim and Champion tagging confirming size, season, extra length and exclusivity. The black armband on the left shoulder was added after the death of Detroit News sports columnist Shelby Strother, who passed away on March 4, 1991. Exhibits solid wear and the front is signed and inscribe in 8/10 white sharpie.
