Description
1979-85 Fred "Curly" Neal Game Worn Harlem Globetrotters Jersey. A roundball magician, Curly Neal entertained millions of fans during his twenty-two year tenure with the Harlem Globetrotters. Known for his dribbling prowess, Neal is one of only five members in Globetrotters history to have his digits retired. While the basketball showmen continue to dazzle crowds, the Globetrotters of the 1970's were some of the best. This "Wilson size 42" mesh masterpiece has a labeling period of 1979-85. Considerable use is exhibited on the garment with heavy puckering on the two-color tackle twill identifiers. Our guess is it saw use for at least one season given its extreme wear. "Harlem Globetrotters 22" is visible on front while "Neal 22" takes form on back. Stars appear on the top and bottom on front and back. White and red ribbed material surrounds the neck and shoulders.
