Description

1969 Joe Schultz Game Worn Seattle Pilots Jersey. Eternally popular with jersey collectors for its scarcity--the franchise existed for just a single season--and its gorgeous styling, the presented home white flannel is one of the nicest we've encountered from the team that would become the Milwaukee Brewers. Like essentially all Pilots jerseys in the hobby today, this one is restored to its former glory, with the restored "Pilots" on chest and number "3" on front and verso and "Schultz" affixed to the embroidered swatch in collar (an original flying baseball patch is on front). In addition, it has the proper Wilson size 44 tag and embroidered 1969 in the tail. Worn by team manager Joe Schultz, it exhibits moderate wear throughout. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
