Description

1956 Topps Sandy Koufax (White Back) #79 PSA NM-MT 8. Sandy Koufax of the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers was the Hall of Fame southpaw who dominated National League pitching in the early 1960s. After a rough couple of seasons, Koufax eventually found his groove and became one of the most dominant hurlers of his era. After 12 seasons wearing Dodger Blue, he retired with 165 victories and 2,396 K's to his credit.

Offered is a 1956 Topps card that captures Sandy in just his second season in the Major Leagues. Card #79 offers a pair of looks at Koufax and is found in high-grade condition. This white-back example boasts light and bright colors, good centering, four strong corners and a clean reverse. Graded PSA NM-MT 8.
