1952 Topps Ed Mathews #407 PSA VG-EX 4. Hall of Famer Eddie Mathews was a prolific slugger with 512 career home runs and 1,453 runs batted in. A steady third baseman, he played a total of 17 seasons in the Major Leagues, the longest stretch coming with the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves (15 years). His induction into Cooperstown took place in 1978.Offered is Mathews' 1952 Topps rookie card, which also marks the final card in the legendary set. This example of card #407 from Topps' inaugural release is found in mid-grade form with deep rich color. Graded PSA VG-EX 4.
