Description

Circa 1930 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Dual-Signed Baseball. Never in the history of American team sports has there been a more dominant duo, each iconic Yankee launching dozens of long balls during seasons in which it didn't even require double-digits to reach the top ten in the category. So even Yankee haters have to tip their caps to the Bambino and the Iron Horse, who share space here upon the presented "Spalding" sphere.

In standard fashion, the Babe claims sweet spot honors for himself, but Gehrig applies his side panel signature near enough to Ruth's autograph to allow for simultaneous display. Ruth rates a solid 8/10, while his sidekick is a few shades lighter to the left, but still instantly identifiable and recognizable. A very fine example of one of the most essential balls for any serious pre-war Yankees collector. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
