1940's Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. The hobby's fundamental building block. Like life itself, every great baseball autograph collection begins with a Babe, and this solid mid-grade specimen assures instant legitimacy. Ruth's black fountain pen ink has mellowed to a 7/10 brown, perfectly centered between the stitching of an "Official Double-Duty Ball" from late in Ruth's storied life.The horsehide has tanned moderately but evenly, supplying a delectable vintage patina to the important relic. Light scuffing and spotting is mentioned only in the interest of full disclosure, as our catalog imagery should convey that the distractions are minimal. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
