2009 Derek Jeter Game Used World Series Bat, PSA/DNA Authentic. While it is important to disclose that the absence of any gold-colored ball marks on the provided signature model Louisville Slugger P72 disqualifies it from use during Jeter's fifth and final World Series championship, this remains a glass well over half-full. The "10/26/09" production date stamped on the knob, just two days before Game One against the Philadelphia Phillies, suggests the Hall of Fame shortstop had already selected his World Series arsenal by the time the bat arrived in the Bronx.But it's important to note that this black beauty is no wallflower, its game use characterized as "substantial" by the experts at PSA/DNA, who suggest that the various ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks and rack streaks relate either to World Series batting practice or use during the subsequent season. Light Mota stick remains at uncracked handle, and a weighted donut impression is located at barrel. Length (34) and weight (32oz) are stamped in the knob.
