Description

1915 T214 Victory Tobacco Russ Ford PSA Poor 1 - The Only PSA Graded Example! A new to the hobby example! When both of the two major grading services has seen only one examples of a card you may safely assume that card is rare. The set saw an extremely limited original release--solely in the state of Louisiana--which is a huge irony considering "Victory Tobacco" portraits are common to the T206 series and that is the only instance in which one can use the word "common" regarding T214 Victory Tobacco brand. After reigning high on the list of greatest 1910-era rarities, there is no reason to think that will change after more than a century. Heritage Sports is happy to present pitcher Russ Ford with the Buffalo Blues of the short lived Federal League. As a matter of fact, 1915 was the final for both Ford and the league. Graded PSA Poor 1. "One" just happens to be the exact number of cards in a PSA holder. The SGC census shows they have only a single example as well!

This series is so obscure, many advanced collections lack a single example. If one were to combine the PSA and SGC census reports one would currently find just ninety confirmed submissions. Every player's entry on either census shows a total pop of just one or two examples except for Bender! Adding one to your collection is truly a collecting victory
