1909-11 T206 Piedmont 350 Ty Cobb (Portrait-Red) SGC VG 3. This portrait is arguably the second most famous photograph from Horner's world famous library, an image which was colorized and set against a simple but fiery red background in the hobby's most celebrated and important tobacco set. The offered model is, of course, the red variant, a color that seems a perfectly fitting complement to the most ferocious competitor of the Dead Ball Era.Graded SGC VG 3. The subject card projects spectacular eye appeal with its very nice centering sharp registration and marvelous colors, losing points to the edge and corner wear that is endemic to all but a handful of Dead Ball Era collectibles.
