Circa 1996 Ivan Rodriguez Game Worn Texas Rangers Jersey - Heavy Catcher's Wear. True collectors covet collectibles which show proper wear. While football jerseys usually show the affects of gridiron battles, baseball jerseys rarely show heavy use. This Ivan Rodriguez gamer is the opposite. We have handled numerous Pudge game-worn jerseys through the years but none can rival the wear as on this catalog listing. Pilling marks are found on the chest from where the catcher's gear rubbed against the knit jersey. More pilling is visible just below the upper stem on the two-color tackle twill number on back. Each of the identifiers has puckered and shows great wear from launderings and Major League games. The left sleeve supports a diamond-shaped team patch. Three tags are sewn in the tail: Russell Athletic, fabric content and "7" (washed out) computerized tag. LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
