Description

1958 Notre Dame Four Horseman Multi-Signed High School Banquet Ticket. The "Four Horsemen" of Notre Dame were the legendary backfield of the 1924 Fighting Irish football team: Harry Stuhldreher (quarterback), Don Miller (halfback), Jim Crowley (halfback), and Elmer Layden (fullback). Coached by the iconic Knute Rockne, they led Notre Dame to a perfect season and a national championship, capped by a victory over Stanford in the Rose Bowl. Their nickname came from sportswriter Grantland Rice, who famously likened them to the biblical Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in a poetic column. The Four Horsemen became enduring symbols of college football excellence, and their legacy helped elevate Notre Dame into a national powerhouse.

Offered is a high school athletic banquet ticket from 1958 signed by the college gridiron legends. Creasing, small edge tears and handling wear on the 3x4" item. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
