Description
1953 Marilyn Monroe & Jane Russell "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" Original Photograph by Brown Brothers, PSA/DNA Type 1. Technically the third adaptation of Anita Loos' 1925 novel, the 1953 film "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" is certainly the most famous version, and it is not hard to see why, with Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell starring. The duo plays showgirls caught in love triangles and struggling with deciding what and whom to pursue.This leggy 20th Century Fox original photograph remains impressive despite some relatively minor condition concerns, including chipped corner and ding on Marilyn's left knee, plus handling and storage wear. Measures approximately 8x10" and includes four Brown Brothers stamps on reverse and 20th Century Fox credit on the front. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
