Description

1980's Jack Morris Game Worn & Signed Detroit Tigers Cleats. The pitcher of the 80's, Jack Morris possessed the heat, the arsenal and a big-game mentality. His 162 wins in the decade led all moundsmen, due in large part to his devastating split-fingered fast ball and an indomitable spirit.

Presented here are his game worn cleats which he wore when he was mowing down opponents and winning Notor City hearts. Black Converse Base Stealers display white stars and chevrons on the sides and white star at the heels with "47" neatly penned in silver sharpie. Outer tongues feature "Converse Base Stealers" labels, while interior tags confirm "12" sizing. Best of all is the "Tuff Toe" customized reinforcement on the right toebox.

The cleats exhibit solid but not overbearing wear. Furthermore, each show is signed "Jack Morris" on the sides in 9/10 silver paint pen. Morris is a five-time All-Star, four-time World Series champion, World Series MVP and member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
