Description
Signed 1955 Topps Ted Williams #2 PSA VG 3 (MK), PSA/DNA Auto 6. Hall of Famer Ted Williams played his entire MLB career for the Boston Red Sox and compiled a lifetime batting average of .344 over 19 seasons, A prolific hitter, he could also pack power with his swing and crushed 521 round-trippers during his career. Presented is a 1955 Topps card featuring the Fenway Park mainstay that includes two different photos of Ted, one handsome headshot and one smaller inset pic of him swinging at the plate. This example of card #2 from the '55 Topps set includes some writing on the reverse (looks like "Mel") but is nicely enhanced by Ted's sought-after autograph on the front. Though the signature ink seems to bead up in places, it's still authentic. One of only twenty-two signed 1955 Topps Ted Williams cards reviewed by PSA.
