Description
1909-11 E90-1 American Caramel Cy Young (Boston) PSA VG 3. Offered is a visually pleasing example of the key player from the E90-1 American Caramel series. The set is particularly popular among collectors for the levels of scarcity, variations and Hall of Fame players included within. There are two versions of Cy Young in the set, on which his team affiliation is cited as either "Boston" or "Cleveland" and the offered card's caption states the former. This example exhibits some wholly anticipated corner rounding and just one light and very brief wrinkle in the upper left, very nicely camouflaged by the deep red backdrop that is uninterrupted. For a 100+ year old piece of thin card stock it retains strong colors and of course Young's timeless Conlon portrait. Graded PSA VG 3.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
