1961 Topps Whitey Ford #160 SGC 96 Mint 9 - Pop Two, None Higher! Hall of Fame southpaw Whitey Ford helped lead the New York Yankees to six World Series crowns during his 16 seasons in The Bronx. The ace of the staff, Ford registered 236 victories for the Bronx Bombers and struck out a total of 1,956 batters. Offered is a 1961 Topps card that shows the steady hurler up close and personal. This example of card #160 from the '61 Topps set is found in top-notch condition with great color, outstanding centering, milky white borders, four sharp corners and a flawless reverse. Graded SGC 96 Mint 9. Of the nearly 700 examples found in the SGC Pop Report, this is one of only two cards graded MINT with none rated higher.
