1913-15 Pinkerton Ty Cobb (Blank Back) #159 SGC 60 EX 5 - Only Five Graded by SGC! Pinkerton cabinets are among the most attractive, most highly sought after, and difficult to acquire of the 20th Century "T" class issues. To better reach the masses, Pinkerton produced post card sized collectibles with backs that are blank or allowed fans to keep score for a baseball game. Offered is a scarce Ty Cobb Pinkerton, #159 with a very clean and very blank back. This series affords only a very thin population to accommodate the quest of modern hobbyists. Graded SGC 60 EX 5. This is one of only five total examples (that is including all back types) graded by SGC. It is tied as the highest graded card with none higher. A very scarce Cobb collectable that features one of his classic fielding portraits.Auction Info
