1998 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Much is said about the dominance of the New York Yankees in the 1940's and 1950's, but certainly the late 1990's teams deserve much credit as well. The 1998 team, in particular, will go down in history as the record-setting winners of 114 games. Although the Seattle Mariners would beat the record a few years later, the Yanks remain the record holders among teams that won the World Series. This inordinately white 1998 World Series ball is signed by 31 of the champions in bold blue ballpoint ink.
