1934-39 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. The particular stamping style of this OAL (Harridge) sphere supplies the date range of our lot title, a period that saw the legendary slugger bidding farewell to the sport that made him one of the world's most recognizable figures. The Bambino forgoes his standard sweet spot stylings in the interest of a personalization, filling a side panel with bold blue fountain pen ink text reading, "To Tommy Swanson from Babe Ruth."The ball exhibits minor handling wear, and the handwriting registers at an approximate 8/10.
