1978 Muhammad Ali Signed Boxing Glove with Provenance. The letter of provenance best tells the story of this exemplar:

"My name is Pete Morkovin. I have been a collector of Muhammad Ali/Cassius Clay memorabilia for over thirty years. As a kid, I visited Ali's training ca,p in Deer Lake,Pennsylvania with my father numerous times.

On one occasion in 1978, I had Muhammad Ali sign the boxing glove described herein as he was training for his fight with Leon Spinks.

Single lack leather "Everlast" boxing glove (left hand) with yellow laces is signed and inscribed "Muhammad Ali 1978" in 9/10 yellow marker.

This lot also includes a letter of authenticity from noted boxing memorabilia expert/authenticator/historian Craig Hamilton. Letter of provenance form Pete Morkovin. LOA from Graig Hamilton (autograph).
