1952 Star-Cal Decals Type 1 Mickey Mantle #70-G PSA Authentic. Offered is an unopened package of Type 1 Star-Cal Decals from 1952 featuring then newbie Yankees Outfielder Mickey Mantle. A young man of great promise who was asked to take over for a retiring legend and win the hearts of the New York Yankee fans. Encapsulated PSA Authentic. PSA has currently slabbed only twenty-one examples and all are "Authentic" which tells us there is a policy against numeric grades for this type of item and nothing wrong with the item. We see some very light wear ate corners with a light crease in the bottom right corner. The decal with a glorious portrait of Mantle looks totally unscathed by the passing of almost seventy years.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
