1980 O-Pee-Chee Hockey Wax Box with 48 Unopened Packs. Offered is a 1980-81 O-Pee-Chee wax box packed with forty-eight wax packs. These were priced at 20-cents each when originally sold. They are worth more now. That is why they are called "the good old days." Possible Mint or Gem Mint examples of cards featuring such superstars include Ray Bourque (Rookie), Mike Gartner (Rookie), Mark Messier (Rookie), and more. This set is also highly coveted for the four second year cards featuring Wayne Gretzky - #3 Wayne Gretzky/Record Breaker, #87 Wayne Gretzky/AS2, #182 Wayne Gretzky/Team LDR, and #250 Wayne Gretzky.With Gretzky being a phenom from day one and Ray Bourque being an extremely promising rookie, when these boxes hit the store shelves - they didn't last long. This is a scarce box. Mild wear exhibited throughout. Authenticated and sealed by Steve Hart-Baseball Card Exchange.
