1997 Skybox Metal Universe Kobe Bryant (Platinum Portraits) #3PP BGS Mint 9 - Only Three Higher! During his 20-season career, all with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant was a five-time NBA Champion, an eighteen-time All-Star and led the NBA in scoring twice. Offered is a brilliant 1997-98 Skybox Metal Universe Platinum Portraits insert card of the great Kobe Bryant. If it's not clear from the photography, we should point out that the silhouetted face of Kobe is an effect created by carefully positioned punch holes that pass through the body of the card, an effect that becomes all the more dazzling when held up to a light source. These cards were found 1 in every 288 hobby packs of the product. Graded BGS Mint 9 with subgrades: Centering 10, Corners 8.5, Edges 9, Surface 9.5.
