Unique 1910-11 T3 Turkey Red Johnny Kling Proof SGC Authentic! This is the first time Heritage Auctions has had the opportunity to offer one of these true proof cards to our bidders. It could very well be the last as another has not appeared at auction for years. The hobby got turned upside-down in the early 1970's when into an American Sports Card Collectors Association Show came a collection of all one-of-a-kind proof cards from the T206, T3 and T9 Turkey Red Baseball and Boxing sets. The source was family of one of the original printers. Every T3 proof in the hobby originates from this find which included a reported seventy cards. Every card features a blank back, exceptional color quality, printer alignment marks and name plates that are missing player name and team information. Each is unique.
