1910 Fort Pitt Publishing Honus Wagner (Pittsburgh Gazette Times) SGC Fair 1.5 - None Higher. From the John Esch Collection. In 1910, Fort Pitt Publishing, with the use of images of the Pittsburgh Gazette Times produced this promotional postcard that features images of Carnegie Free Library, Masonic Hall, High School, and the Second Ward School. All of these sites are in Carnegie, PA and they have a famous connection - "The World's Greatest Base Ball Player" - Honus Wagner! This is a scarcity that most hobbyists will never encounter. There are two areas of surface loss on the reverse that tells us this card was once mounted in a album. Graded SGC Fair 1.5.
