Description

1970's Muhammad Ali Training Worn Camp Shirt from Family of Assistant Trainer. The champ had a tendency to turn heads wherever he went. Muhammad Ali probably did so when he slipped this yellow cotton shirt on at his training camp in Deer Lake, Pennsylvania. The pullover has a white V-neck (staining) and sleeve ends. Heavy staining also appears on the lower right side. "Ali" is screened over the left breast in black while "Muhammad Ali" takes residence on the reverse in similar felt-like material. A quarter-sized hole appears on the reverse bottom. Letter of provenance from family of assistant trainer Wali Muhammad. LOA from Craig Hamilton/JO Sports. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
