1887 N184 Kimball "Champions of Games & Sports" E.A. Burch PSA NM-MT 8. Ernie Burch, outfielder for the Brooklyn Grays, was one of four baseball players to be included in the N184 Kimball "Champions of Games & Sports" set. He didn't appear in even 200 games; he may not have been the most obvious choice to appear on a sports card. However, his name was in the news as he was caught up in an early labor dispute with baseball ownership, a couple of years before Monte Ward's Players' League, decades before Curt Flood. His card here is graded a terrific PSA NM-MT 8. Only eighteen graded at PSA with two at this graded, none higher.Auction Info
