Description

1880's N117 Duke "Industries of The States" Collection (4). The N117 "Industries of The States" is one if the best looking non-sport series ever produced for various reasons. One is the finely detail professional illustrations depicting the other "best looking" reason... very risque (for the time) ladies representing who while representing their state, needed to be semi- to completely topless, much to the chagrin of Victorian-era idealists. Available with two different tobacco brands, each of the four cards displays the slightly tougher "Duke, Sons & Co." reverse. The lot includes: Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey and Tennessee. The cards grade VG to VG/EX with no major creases or surface loss.
