1959 Rose Bowl, Iowa Hawkeyes Vs. Cal Bears Memorabilia Lot of 7. Inspired by Player of the Game Bob Jeter's superior performance at halfback, the Iowa Hawkeyes defeated the Cal Bears 38-12 in the 1959 Rose Bowl. Representing the memorable game, which hails from the special Hawkeyes' season in which they shared the national championship with LSU, here we present the following gridiron artifacts: 1959 Rose Bowl program (Mint); two 1959 Rose Bowl press guides (EX-MT); player Dave George's 1959 University of California "Bushnell" binoculars, with original case (Rose Bowl medallion on top); Dave George's "Elgin" Cal Bears 1959 Rose Bowl presentation watch (10 karat gold filled - EX, player's name engraved on back), Dave George original portrait photo and 1971 Joe Kapp football card.Auction Info
