1951 Bowman Ted Williams #165 SGC VG 3. Ted Williams, often hailed as the greatest pure hitter in baseball history, spent his entire Hall of Fame career with the Boston Red Sox. Known as "The Splendid Splinter," he combined a keen eye, superb swing mechanics, and unmatched discipline at the plate to become the last player to bat over .400 in a season, accomplishing the feat in 1941. The 1951 Bowman #165 Ted Williams is a beautifully illustrated card from one of Bowman's most celebrated sets. Graded SGC VG 3.
