Description

1957 Topps Hank Aaron #20 SGC EX 5. Undoubtedly considered a star just three seasons in to his career, Hank Aaron made the leap from "star" to "superstar" in 1957 - capturing his first (and somehow only) MVP award while leading the Milwaukee Braves to a seven-game victory over the New York Yankees in the World Series. It would appear as if Topps' printing team hadn't notice the successes of Aaron prior to '57 though, transposing the image on his card, number 20 in the set, to show Hammerin' Hank as a left handed batter. Graded SGC EX 5.
