2008 David Bell Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM+ 7.5. David Bell is a former Major League Baseball infielder and the current manager of the Cincinnati Reds, a position he has held since 2019. During his playing career (1995-2006), he was known for his versatility and steady defense, playing for several teams including the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners, and Philadelphia Phillies. Bell comes from a prominent baseball family-his father Buddy Bell and grandfather Gus Bell also played in the majors, making them one of MLB's few three-generation families.As a manager, Bell is recognized for his analytical approach and calm leadership style, guiding a young Reds team through a rebuilding phase while emphasizing player development and adaptability. Under his tenure, the Reds returned to the postseason in 2020, marking a step forward for the franchise.
