Description

1941-42 Calder Memorial Trophy Presented to Grant "Knobby" Warwick. One of the earliest Calder Memorial Trophies to hit the hobby, this 1941-42 award was given to Grant "Knobby" Warwick after his season wearing a Rangers sweater, when he scored 16 goals and 17 points. Standing at an impressive 15", this enormous silver-plated showpiece presents the following engraving: "National Hockey League Frank Calder Trophy Awarded to the outstanding recruit in each season Won by Grant Warwick New York Rangers." Cup is tilted slightly to the right, while medium tarnishing is exhibited throughout. An overall exceptional piece representing the best rookie of the 1941-42 NHL season.
