Baseball 1939 PLAY BALL JOE DiMAGGIO EX PSA 5 (MK). Produced by Gum Inc., the Play Ball issue set new standards with better quality photos and larger cards than virtually all previous tobacco and candy issues of the early 20th Century. This beautiful B/W card depicts a young Joe DiMaggio with the New York Yankees. He would finish his illustrious career as one of the all-time greats in both Yankee and baseball history. Card displays good centering, sharp image focus, four strong corners, and clean white borders. Designated "MK." for back of the card. SMR Value= EX-$800.
