Description

1961 National League All-Star Team (1st Game) Signed Baseball. The presented ONL (Giles) sphere is signed by two dozen N.L. All-Stars, including Hall of Famers Clemente, Aaron, Mays, Koufax, Banks, Cepeda, Drysdale, Mathews, Robinson and Spahn. Others include Altman, Bolling, Burgess, Face, Jay, Kasko, McCormick, Miller, Purkey, Roseboro, Stuart, Wills, Zimmer and Murtaugh (sweet spot). The ball is a light cream tone, the league stamping remains prominent and the blue ink autographs grade an overall 8/10 in strength.

Played at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, this was the first of the two All-Star Games played in 1961, the other taking place at Fenway Park in Boston. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
