Description

1996-97 Patrick Roy Game Worn Colorado Avalanche Jersey. Selected in 2004 by a panel of writers and fans as the greatest goaltender in NHL history, Patrick Roy is the only player in history to win the Conn Smythe award three times. Credited as a pioneer of the highly-popular butterfly style of goaltending, the 2006 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee wore this ultra-rare jersey during the 1996-97 season with the Colorado Avalanche. Exhibiting light wear throughout, it has the proper "58G-2LS11" swatch in the interior tail. Sewn-on identifiers are presented on the front, back and sleeves, while its fight strap remains intact in the interior. The first Roy gamer Heritage has ever offered, it is one of few ever to hit the hobby. LOA from Joe Tomon. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
