Description

1919 World Series (Cincinnati Reds) Press Pass, PSA Fair 1.5 (MK). With the recent passing of Pete Rose, it appears that the long-banished bad boys of baseball are destined for Cooperstown, so we suspect there will be quite a bit of renewed talk about this most notorious of Fall Classics in coming years. This pass was issued to T.J. Powers of The Dayton (OH) News as handwriting on verso indicates. Note that this handwriting accounts for the "MK" qualifier in the PSA grade, but we think it's a bit unfair given the circumstances. Only three Cincy press passes (and three from Chicago) appear in the PSA population. Encapsulated by PSA, Fair 1.5 (MK).
