Description

1996 Kordell Stewart Game Worn Jersey. Ten years old when his mother, a heavy smoker, passed away due to terminal lung cancer, Stewart wore the digits on his jersey in remembrance and as a leading anti-smoking advocate. Presented is a second-year black mesh gamer from the season just before Stewart's transition to the quarterback role, exhibiting a nice scattering of scuffing, shoulder dings and small durene shoulder tears. His number "10" is applied to chest, back and shoulders in white tackle twill, with "Stewart" spelled across rear nameplate in three-inch yellow block. "Starter ProLine Authentic Steelers Exclusivity" label appears at lower front left exterior tail, with "48" flap tag denoting size at right. A "96" year swatch is affixed at left. LOA from Lou Lampson.
