Description
1990's Mush March Game Worn Old Timers Jerseys Lot of 4. Mush March was the only Chicago Blackhawk to ever play on two Stanley Cup winners with the Blackhawks in 1933-34 and 1937-38. Thus, he always remained a hero to the Blackhawks and their adoring public. Offered here is a collection of four jerseys given to Mush March in the 1990s: a Heroes of Hockey shirt from the 1991 All-Star Game in Chicago, a Blackhawks Alumni jersey used in Old-Timers events , a Blackhawks jersey with his No. 5 and NOB, perhaps used in the closing of Maple Leafs Gardens, and a Blackhawks vintage-style jersey with the "75th Anniversary" patch attached. A good number of the historic original six arenas closed down in the 1990s, including the historic Maple Leaf Gardens and Chicago Stadium. March was in Toronto with Red Horner as the only two living members to have played in the first hockey game at Maple Leaf Gardens. An interesting array of jerseys used when Mush March attended these events. LOA from Harold March.Auction Info
