Description
Circa 1895 "The HAWCO" Professional Model Hockey Stick and Circa 1920 "SUPERB" Puck. Rarely seen in the hobby, and a pair that would make the perfect display in any vintage sports memorabilia collection, here we offer an extremely early professional model hockey stick and rubber puck. The wooden stick has "THE HAWCO PROFESSIONAL" clearly stamped on the blade, while initials "EVLH" are printed by an unknown hand on the shaft. Solid condition is exhibited on the vintage twig, while it remains uncracked. Also included is a circa 1920 "SUPERB" puck. Exhibiting light wear throughout, this black rubber artifact is accompanied with a copy of a "Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co." ad offering the pucks at 40 cents each.Auction Info
